This workshop is designed for individuals who are passionate about learning the fundamentals of barbering in a hands-on, real-world environment. Whether you’re exploring a career in barbering or simply want to sharpen your grooming skills, our workshop provides valuable experience through guided instruction and supervised practice. Participants will gain insight into barbering techniques such as fades, lineups, beard grooming, scissor work, and client interaction—under the mentorship of experienced barbers. This workshop is led by Van, a master barber and educator with over 25 years of professional barbering experience. Van brings a wealth of knowledge, skill, and passion to each session, helping aspiring barbers build confidence and develop practical, industry-relevant skills. Disclaimer Icons Barbering Workshop is an independent educational experience provided by Icons Barbershop. We are not a licensed barber school, and this workshop does not lead to a state barber license or certification. All services performed during the workshop are under the supervision of professional barbers for training purposes only.
